THE HEARTY BOYS: DAN & STEVE
The first season winners of Food Network's "The Next Food Network Star," The Hearty Boys, Dan Smith and Steve McDonagh, are nationally recognized television hosts, trend-setting caterers, dynamic restaurateurs, and esteemed cookbook authors. Besides their Food Network "Party Line with the Hearty Boys," Dan and Steve went on to open "HB: a Hearty Boys Spot," one of Chicago's leading restaurants, as well as author a well-received cookbook titled "Talk With Your Mouth Full: The Hearty Boys Cookbook," released in October, 2007, now in its second printing.
The Hearty Boys believe, first and foremost, that entertaining should be fun, for both guests and host. Dan and Steve's philosophy centers around taking the anxiety out of cooking for company by sharing their completely accessible - but still impressive - recipes, stories of successes and failures, and of course the little black book of tricks culled from working in the trenches.
Dan and Steve have recently launched their new Chicago restaurant,"Hearty," to rave reviews.
Plus, Chef Anahita Naderi, Executive Food Editor of OC Life magazine.
Originally from Iran's Caspian region, Chef Naderi graduated with top honors from Orange County’s Art Institute. She has become a well known local culinary impresario, doing private events and cooking demonstrations. DANCING WITH DONNY ON DWTS
Kym Johnson was introduced to the world of ballroom dancing by her brother, who thought it a good way to meet girls, and dragged Kym to dance lessons. Soon she was dancing competitively.
Ms. Johnson first appeared on "Dancing With The Stars" in season 3, paired with Jerry Springer, a fan favorite. Since then she has been paired with: Joey Fatone, Mark Cuban, Warren Sapp, David Alan Grier, and currently, Donny Osmond, coming in 3rd in the first week's scoring.
Other career highlights include dancing at Elton John's 50th birthday party, and dancing in "Strictly Ballroom." Achievements include:

Beer: We found Blue Heron Pale Ale from Portland's Bridgeport Brewing Co. to be very drinkable, but not roadtrip-worthy.
Chocolate: There's bacon in our chocolate! Vosges Haut Chocolat created Mo's Milk Chocolate Bacon Bar with applewood smoked bacon, alder wood smoked salt and milk chocolate (41% cacao). Val had a porkgasm.

- Wood you, could you... Slice up some twigs and attach them to a pot with RooWood glue. Easy, right? You just created a Vivified Vase. Congratulations. Have a cookie.

Chicago native, Amy Landecker was exposed to an entertainer’s life early on as the daughter of legendary Top 40 DJ, John ‘Records’ Landecker. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Amy honed her acting craft working at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, The Goodman Theater and Victory Gardens.
At the Goodman, Amy appeared in the world premiere production of “Blue Surge” , written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rebecca Gilman and directed by Tony Award winner Bob Falls, and continued on with the production at New York’s Joseph Papp Public Theatre.
Ms. Landecker won an Obie Award starring opposite Academy Award Nominee Michael Shannon in “BUG”, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Tracy Letts. Amy has guest starred on the Emmy and Golden Globe award winning series 'Mad Men’, ‘Medium’, ‘Conviction’ and ‘Law and Order SVU’. Her film work includes ‘Dan In Real Life’, ‘Temporary Girl’ and ‘Light It Up’. Ms. Landecker is also one of the busiest female voice talents in the business. She has recorded hundreds of TV and radio commercials along with promos for MTV, GSN, Nickelodeon and Biography.
